Structure of the Battle:
1. The Battle consists of 7 rounds: 1 preliminary and 6 knockout rounds.
2. For the preliminary round, you must submit a track on the given topic. The judging panel evaluates submissions using a 5-point system:
0 – Dislike
1 – Average
2 – Good
3 – Great
4 – Banger
An additional 0.5–1 point can be awarded for a video accompanying the track. After evaluations, tracks are ranked by score. The top 64 proceed to the second round.
If more than 64 participants have a passing score, we will make and official post on our instagram page and let the audience decide as a tiebreaker. Contestants must post the track (or video) to their profile and tag @38Unity. The number of likes determines the final decision.
3. From the second round, participants will be matched in pairs. Pairing system:
Round 2: 1 vs. 33, 2 vs. 34 … 32 vs. 64
Round 3: 1 vs. 17, 2 vs. 18 … 16 vs. 32
And so on, using the same structure
4. In knockout rounds (2–6), tracks must be created on assigned themes. Judging uses the 5-5-3+1 system:
- Technique (flow/style/rhyming complexity) – 1 to 5
- Lyrics (theme development, uniqueness) – 1 to 5
- Overall impression – 0 to 3 (This categorу is influenced by the visual part/video content)
- In addition, viewers will award one extra point to one participant in each pair.
5. Only one participant advances from each pair. If both fail to submit a track, a loser with the highest score from another pair may be selected.
